At (CSI) the new millennium is changing the way carbon is manufactured. With the technology today, we are becoming more advanced. Currently we are using a “briquette” machine to manufacture coal carbon. The use of this machine is guaranteed to provide a much higher Iodine level and a high Molasses number and no floats. This is great for de-colorization. But that’s not all. We are now using a top of the line brand new Hearth Furnace for char and activation. This furnace provides our customers with the highest quality carbon and gives us a modernized advantage to meet the needs of our customers.
